A lesson plan for elementary students involves identifying and creating angles (acute, obtuse, right, straight). Students will learn what these angles means as well as how to create these. The teacher can use the interactive white board to help students by using the following website: Interactive Angles Here students can come up to the board to build the angles. Students can visualize what is happening and actually see the angle being created as you add or take away degrees.

The interactive white board is used to make math facts more exciting and also competitive which is sure to engage the entire class.
This lesson plan is for first grade students at the beginning stage of learning story problems. It involves students participating in group discussions where they can make the problems up and then coming to the Smart Board to help answer problems. Students will also complete story problems on a worksheet as a whole class and given a picture be asked to create a problem on their own. First graders also are able to use Ipads to create story problems on Draw Free and then able to play math games on coolmathgames.com.
